User-Generated Content: The dream texts you enter for analysis and the results generated by Artificial Intelligence (Google Gemini) are stored in your account (via Google Cloud Firestore) so you can access your history.
B. Data collected automatically:
Usage and Device Data: We use Google Analytics and Firebase to collect anonymous data on how you use the app (session times, clicks, errors, and app crashes), as well as technical information (device model, operating system version).
Advertising Data: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect advertising identifiers from your device (such as the Android Advertising ID or Apple's IDFA) and cookies to personalize the ads you see.
3. Purpose of Processing (Why do we use your data?)
We use your information exclusively for the following purposes:
Providing the service: Processing your dream texts through Gemini AI to return a meaning and saving this history to your account.
Support and Improvement: Analyzing technical errors and usage statistics to improve the App's performance.
Advertising: Displaying ads through the Google AdMob network (and its partners) to keep the App free of charge. The personalization of these ads is managed directly by Google.
4. Legal Basis for data processing
We process your data under the following legal bases:
Explicit Consent: By downloading the app, creating an account, and accepting our Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy.
Performance of a Contract: We need your email and dream texts to create your account and provide the analysis service you request.

Access and Rectification: You can view all your information (profile and analyzed dreams) directly in the App.
Cancellation / Deletion (Right to be Forgotten): You can delete individual dream analyses at any time from your history. Additionally, there is a "Delete Account" button within the app settings. Clicking this will permanently delete your account, your email, and your entire dream history from our Firestore servers.
Opposition to Personalized Advertising: You can disable personalized ads directly from your mobile device's privacy settings (iOS or Android) by limiting ad tracking.
7. Data Security and Retention
Your data is transmitted and stored securely using industry-standard encryption and security protocols provided by Google Cloud and Firebase. We will retain your data only while your account is active. Once you decide to delete a dream or your entire account, the data is removed from our active database immediately, and we do not keep long-term backup copies of your personal dreams.
8. Children's Privacy
This App is designed and directed exclusively to adults over the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we discover that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete that information and the associated account immediately.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to update this policy at any time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via a prominent notice within the App the next time you log in. Your continued use of the app after such notification will constitute your acceptance of the changes.

Skylanterns is not responsible for any decisions or actions you take based on the content generated by the App.
2. Age Requirements and Account Use
2.1. Minimum Age: The App is directed at adult users. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use our services.
2.2. Registration: To save your dream history, you must create an account by providing truthful information (email and password, or via Google/Apple login).
2.3. Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. If you suspect unauthorized use, you must notify us immediately.
3. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
3.1. Content Generation: The App uses the Google Gemini API to process your dream texts. By submitting text, you agree to it being processed by said third-party technology.
3.2. Accuracy: Given that interpretations are generated by an AI based on general symbolism, we do not guarantee the accuracy, consistency, relevance, or "truth" of the meanings provided. Results may be fictional or unexpected.
4. User Content and Privacy
4.1. Ownership of Your Data: You retain the rights to the original text of the dreams you enter.

All rights, titles, and interests in and to the App (excluding content provided by users), including its design, source code, logos, and the "Meaning of Dreams AI" brand, are the exclusive property of Skylanterns.
